We have discovered a dog treat, called Sausages in a Blanket, which is probably the equivalent of ice cream to us.   Every pooch that has stopped by has loved them.  So if you’re in the neighbourhood, with your pup, stop by and let them try one.

We asked for ideas on how to “Use it Twice” . 

Using an egg carton to plant seeds was a great one, so we gave it a try. 

We are excited to announce that our basil is sprouting…we think our rosemary may have frozeJ We had it in the front window of the store, and it can get pretty frosty in the window….sooooo we don’t give up that easily…we will replant the rosemary. 

Ask us for one of our little basil plants when your in the shop. We are giving them away to loving homes….no charge. Loooove basil in the summer on a slice of tomato with some boccocinni (is that how you spell it) cheese , olive oil and balsamic vinegar.  Yummooo….

Frozen rosemary seeds…..not:)……….yes we planted early, but our tough little plants are on their way.  We now have basil and rosemary growing in the  shop window.  When we plant them in the little recycle pots we have found, we will be giving them away.

We think wearing gently used is cool, but unfortunately some people are shy about it.  So more and more stuff lands in the landfill, rather than people “using it twice”.

This is where we ask for your help. If you buy something in our funky little store “Patch It With Pride”.  We have this funky little patch, that we can sew on your gently used piece.  Only takes 5 minutes in the shop to put it on.  This shows the world that you recycle, and that you are proud of your landfill rescue.
