Suited for Success
We read a story about an NFL player who purchased homes and gave them to single mothers in need. Where providing a warm meal dealt with the issue on a short term basis, his solution provided long term support for a family in need. This article really made us think about what we could do that would have a similar impact by filling a need within the community. It was out of this desire to make a difference that Suited for Success was born.
There are a lot of individuals struggling out there that are working to land a great job. They know what a long term difference it would make for their children – the stability of a steady income and the example of being a great role model. It is tough to get a job, but even tougher when you do not have everything you need to prepare for the interview. With your generous donation of a previously worn business suit and our donation of needed accessories, we will make sure that some of these men and women are Suited for Success. Hillary Cleaners has kindly offered to dry clean and hem the suits.
We are working with United Way, to find candidates that can benefit from Suited for Success.
